I have led a range of schools securing rapid and sustained improvement. I have been deployed by the local authority as Executive Headteacher to implement a managed partnership with a rural school. As an early years specialist I have established two new early year settings both judged as outstanding by Ofsted. I support PVIs to develop a leadership structure within their setting. During 2015 I led an early years leadership project for NDTSA as part of Everton Teaching School’s national project.

Responsibilities: Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for assessment and raising standards, I am an Initial Teacher Training Specialist Leader of Education for NDTSA, School Direct Leader for NDTSA. I am also a school governor, member of Plymouth University ITT strategic board and a member of NDTSA strategic board. Qualifications: BA Business and Marketing Westminster University, PGCE GTP Middlesex University Experience: I am responsible for ensuring staff produce reliable and purposeful data. I initiate opportunities which enable staff to develop their leadership skills through teamwork and projects. I was also deployed for one year to support and coach a newly appointed head of teaching and learning as part of a managed partnership.

Responsibilities: Member of senior leadership team with responsibility for Special Educational Needs Qualifications: BA Social policy and history Newcastle upon Tyne University, PGCE completed at De Montford University, SENCo qualification Experience: I lead a large team of specialised support staff ensuring needs of all pupils are met. I specialise in language and communication, autism and challenging behaviour. I have been deployed to support SENCos in the local community including a managed partnership school. I am an accredited trainer with experience leading the Improved Teacher Programme.

I am a Specialist Leader of Education for the North Devon Teaching School Alliance and have been deployed to provide School 2 School support. I also lead the NQT training programme for NDTSA.

I am a Specialist leader of Education and lead the School Direct Mentorship for the NDTSA. Working in partnership with Plymouth University I have developed the School Direct programme, training mentors across the Alliance.

Hearing Support Centre Outreach Leader

Responsibilities: Teacher of the Deaf with responsibility for leading North Devon Hearing Support and outreach Qualifications: BEd Geography St Mary’s College of Education, Certificate of Education, (Teacher of Hearing Impaired Children) Oxford Polytechnic Experience: I lead a team of four signing teaching assistants who provide support for families with pupils aged between birth and KS3. I liaise closely with a range of local agencies providing training and conferences supporting the local deaf community.

As a Specialist Leader of Education, I specialise in Early Years and PE. Frequently leading training across the NDTSA for EYFS settings, trainee teachers and NQTs across North Devon.

As a result I initiated the Natural Play project providing opportunities for families to explore the outdoor environment through parent workshops.

As part of my role I have also been deployed to support PE leadership in another school and regularly lead training for NQTs and trainee teachers across North Devon.
